Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) Program
This program is tailored for new ventures. With new ventures exploding onto the scene today, the quest for strong leadership is endless. Defining the qualifications of senior management in an early stage company is one of the toughest questions facing the industry today. Our EIR program gives a company access to seasoned entrepreneurial talent matched with their specific venture. Our role goes beyond evaluating a potential candidate's educational background and work experience. We also evaluate the "intangible" characteristics of a candidate to ensure that an individual will be successful in a specific environment. We provide the leaders who have the experience, ability, and business building skills to take a company to the next level.

Future Chiefs Program
Works closely with the EIR program, but a Future Chief is currently a Vice President reporting to a CEO. While the Future Chief is still employed, we develop a relationship between the Future Chief and one of our venture capital partners helping prepare them for a future CEO role. Future Chiefs learn about the venture capital business and how the start-up process works. They are coached on additional skills or experience necessary in order to matriculate to the CEO position. When the time is right and the Future Chief is ready to lead a company, introductions are made with our venture capital partners' projects until we find a fit. Frequently, Future Chiefs join the EIR program.

Start-up Funding Assistance  SGI assists start-up companies in acquiring venture capital/angel investor funding through our business plan referral program.

Contingency Search
SGI will seek the perfect candidate whether an organization needs to build up their management teams or are interested in adding technical professionals to the staff. Our consultants will work with them and no fee is paid until they have hired a suitable candidate. SGI employs a unique recruiting approach for each search, which involves:
